Adam Toutoungi
Adam Toutoungi is an internationally experienced 3D Animator based in Utah with accomplishments in both human nuance and cartoony animation. His infectious passion for animation makes him a wonderful coach, and his insight into the artform informs how he approaches each student and their portfolio.
Adam graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in 3D Animation, but has a rich background of amateur animation before attending school. He also completed the Technicolor Academy @ The Focus post graduating SCAD, and won the 2022 Southeast Regional Student Production Award of Excellence for his senior thesis, Out O' the Inkwell, which he directed, produced and animated. In his free time, Adam has been taught by countless talented animators from Sony, Pixar and Disney to absorb as much knowledge about the craft as possible. He has worked alongside industry veterans throughout his professional career, from Ghana, to the U.S., while also animating on several award winning short-films.
Adam loves working with new animators, not only to help them hone in their strengths, but also to share his experiences and help ease any worries. He strives to prepare the next generation of animators for the current paradigm shift in the industry to ensure students are prepared to be part of a historical era of animation.
Adam is currently working as a freelance animator and creating a short film in his free time.
