USC Iovine Young Academy

The minute we introduced Badria to USC’s Iovine Young Academy she knew it was the perfect school for her. It would allow her the opportunity to continue to push boundaries, disrupt traditional thinking, and use her creative skills to their highest abilities. The program offers one degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation to a very small cohort of about 40 students. Badria has the perfect mix of in depth business experience and a highly conceptual creative portfolio, we worked together to brainstorm how to best showcase these qualities and experiences in her application.

In addition to the comprehensive USC application, the IYA specific application is geared specifically to determine your fit to the program and to developing a cohort of students who will work together for four years. She had to submit a one minute pitch video and five specific creative responses. She was then one of the fortunate applicants to be invited for an interview with members of the faculty, in March she received the news that she was accepted.

From her excited mom when she was accepted “We are over the moon over her acceptance at USC IYA! Thank you so much for all your help! We are so proud of her!”
